New Beginnings Bags

Our mission at New Beginnings Bags is to provide support to foster children by donating backpacks filled with essential supplies for the first night. We believe that every child deserves to feel comforted and cared for, especially during times of transition and uncertainty. By collaborating with community partners and volunteers, we aim to create a positive impact on the lives of these children. Our goal is to empower and inspire these individuals to reach their full potential and know that they have a network of support behind them. We strive to make a difference, one bag at a time.

Children and teens are removed from their families everyday because of abuse and neglect.  Too often, these children arrive carrying trash bags with their few belongings when meeting their new foster families.  Our goal is to provide one backpack for every child equipped with pajamas, socks, underwear, toothbrush, toothpaste, a stuffed animal and a book.  Gather your network to make first night backpacks -  by collecting items, purchasing directly from our wish list or making an online gift to provide a backpack full of exactly what a child in this situation needs.
